Pear Advisory was instrumental in assisting Hello with the conceptualization of a Remittance Linked Insurance product covering the lives of migrant workers and foreign national residing in South Africa. We further proposed and implemented a long-term insurance Cell Captive structure through Guardrisk to specifically underwrite the product.
Hello Group
Pear Advisory project managed the Drive and Save limited theft cover. Our role included setting up the process flows for each aspect of the insurance business i.e. Policy Issuance, Policy Wording, Endorsements, Premium Collection, Claim processing and settlement and Binder and Intermediary Agreements.
Cartrack
Pear Advisory developed and priced a unique product specifically covering the LNG kit once a vehicle has been converted from petrol / diesel to LNG. We further proposed and implemented a short-term insurance Cell Captive structure through Old Mutual to underwrite the product.
DNG Energy
Pear Advisory proposed and assisted the Lesotho Public Service Staff Association (Lepssa) to establish Bahlanka Pele an investment company. The purpose of the investment company is to provide insurance and finance products that create value and uplift the lives of the members.
Bahlanka Pele Lesotho
Pear Advisory developed a unique product using “broken window syndrome” that covers the risk of the RDP home owners. A microinsurance cell captive composite license is being implemented for this product.
